Terms of Use - AI Math

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using AI Math on your device, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this application.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to download and use AI Math for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the application
• Use the application for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the software
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the application
• Use the application to generate solutions intended to facilitate academic dishonesty
• Distribute or resell solutions generated by the application

3. Math Problem Submissions

When you photograph and submit math problems to AI Math, you acknowledge that:

• Images are processed solely to identify and solve the mathematical content
• You are responsible for how you use the solutions provided
• Solutions are intended to aid learning and understanding, not to replace academic effort
• You retain ownership of any original content you photograph

4. Photo Upload and Content

When you upload photos to AI Math, you represent and warrant that:

• The images you submit contain only mathematical content intended for solving
• You have the right to photograph and submit the content shown in the images
• The uploaded images do not contain personal information, faces, or any non-mathematical sensitive content
• The content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

5. AI Technology and Processing

AI Math uses advanced AI technology to recognize and solve math problems. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that:

• Every solution will be mathematically correct in all cases
• The service will recognize all handwriting styles or problem formats
• The service will be error-free or uninterrupted at all times
• Solutions will always match the exact format expected by your institution

Always verify solutions independently before submitting them for academic purposes.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use AI Math to:

• Cheat on exams, assignments, or any academic evaluation in violation of your institution's policies
• Submit AI-generated solutions as your own original work where prohibited
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to overload or disrupt the service
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of textbooks or copyrighted materials

7. Premium Features and Subscriptions

AI Math offers both free and premium tiers. Premium features include unlimited solution generation and PDF export. Subscription terms:

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period

8. Disclaimer

The application is provided on an 'as is' basis. Definitely Human makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. AI Math solutions should not be relied upon as the sole source of mathematical instruction.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Definitely Human or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption, or any academic consequences arising from use of generated solutions) arising out of the use or inability to use the application, even if Definitely Human or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

10. Third-Party Services

AI Math utilizes third-party AI models and services (including advanced AI model providers and Firebase) for math recognition, problem solving, and data management. By using AI Math, you agree to the terms of service of these third-party providers. Definitely Human is not responsible for their practices or policies.

11. Termination

Definitely Human reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to AI Math at any time, without notice or cause, if we determine that you are violating these terms or applicable laws.

12. Changes to These Terms

Definitely Human may revise these terms of use at any time without notice. By continuing to use AI Math, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of use.
