Terms of Use - Curvly

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Curvly ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Curvly is a photo editing application that places text along a path drawn on a photo. You can draw a path freehand or insert a ready-made shape such as a circle, arch, straight line, or wave. The App provides font selection, colour, stroke, shadow and opacity controls, multi-layer editing, project saving, and image export.

The App also includes an optional photo search powered by Unsplash. Photos obtained through it are subject to the Unsplash License.

3. User Content

You retain all rights to the photos and text content you create using the App. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party, including rights in photographs you did not take and in trademarks or quotations you place on them.

4. Free and Pro Versions

The free version of Curvly applies a watermark to exported images and limits export resolution to 2048 pixels on the longest edge, which is suitable for social media use.

Curvly Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that removes the watermark, raises the export limit to 4K, and unlocks the premium font collection. It is not a subscription and does not renew.

Pricing, availability, and the exact contents of the Pro tier may change in future versions. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple.

5. Fonts and Third-Party Materials

Fonts bundled with the App are licensed for use within it. Your exported images may be used freely, but the font files themselves may not be extracted or redistributed.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of Definitely Human. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

7. Limitations of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Definitely Human shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including loss of unsaved work. Please export or save designs you wish to keep.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
