Privacy Policy - Solo Test

1. Overview

Solo Test ("the App") is a peg solitaire game developed by Definitely Human for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This policy describes what the App does with data. It is short because the App does very little: it is a board game that runs entirely on your device.

2. We Collect Nothing About You

The App does not collect personal information. There is no account system: no sign-up, no login, no email address, no password.

There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind in the App. The App does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA), does not track you across other apps or websites, and never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

The App does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, or any other personal data on your device.

3. The App Works Offline

Playing does not require an internet connection. The game board, the solver that produces hints, your move history and your statistics are all computed and stored on your device. The App does not send your game data to us — we do not operate a server for it.

4. What Is Stored on Your Device

The App saves a small amount of information locally so it can pick up where you left off:

• Your game in progress — the current board, the move count, and the undo/redo history.
• Your statistics — games finished, perfect single-peg solutions, best result, and total moves.
• Your preferences — sound, haptic feedback, and whether hints are enabled.

None of this identifies you. Deleting the App removes everything it stored on the device.

5. iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your statistics and preferences are synchronised across the iPhone, iPad and Mac using the same Apple ID, so a game finished on your phone also counts on your Mac.

This uses Apple's CloudKit private database — your own iCloud storage, in your own Apple account. The data is transmitted between your devices and Apple's servers only. The developer has no access to it, cannot read it, and receives no copy of it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Syncing is optional. If you are not signed in to iCloud, or you turn iCloud off for the App in iOS or macOS Settings, the App keeps working and simply stores everything locally on that device.

6. Purchases

Solo Test is bought once from the App Store and covers iPhone, iPad and Mac through Universal Purchase. There is no subscription and no in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or receive your payment details.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is a simple board game suitable for all ages. It does not ask for or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, and contains no advertising and no external links inside gameplay.

8. This Website

This website — the pages you are reading now — uses Google Analytics to measure page visits. That is separate from the App, which contains no analytics at all.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be noted in the App or on our website.
