Terms of Use - INKSPOT

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using INKSPOT on your device, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this application.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to download and use INKSPOT for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the application
• Use the application for any commercial purpose without written permission
• Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the software
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the application
• Use the application to post fraudulent, misleading, or spam content
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the application by automated means

3. User-Generated Content

INKSPOT allows users to add places, write reviews, and upload photos. When you contribute content, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for the content you submit
• Your content must be accurate, truthful, and based on genuine experiences
• You grant Definitely Human a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the app
• You retain ownership of your original content
• Reviews may be edited or deleted by you within 7 days of posting

4. Photo Uploads

When you upload photos to INKSPOT, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the photos or have the right to share them
• The photos accurately represent the place or experience being reviewed
• The photos do not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• The photos do not violate any third-party rights, including privacy and intellectual property

5. Community Guidelines

To maintain a helpful and trustworthy community, you agree to:

• Add only real, existing places to the map
• Write honest reviews based on actual visits
• Not post fake reviews, whether positive or negative
• Not harass, threaten, or abuse other community members
• Not post spam, advertisements, or promotional content in reviews
• Use the report feature responsibly and not to target legitimate content

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use INKSPOT to:

• Post false or misleading information about businesses
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Manipulate ratings or verification scores
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to overload or disrupt the service
• Collect personal information about other users

7. Moderation and Enforcement

Definitely Human reserves the right to:

• Remove or hide content that violates these terms or community guidelines
• Suspend or ban users who repeatedly violate the rules
• Merge duplicate place listings
• Modify the verification status of places based on community reports

8. Anonymous Usage

INKSPOT assigns auto-generated display names to users. You may browse the map and view places without signing in. An account is required only to contribute content (adding places, writing reviews, uploading photos).

9. Disclaimer

The application is provided on an 'as is' basis. Definitely Human makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy of place information, reviews, or ratings. We do not endorse any business listed on the map. Place information is community-contributed and may not be current or accurate at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Definitely Human or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the application, reliance on community-contributed content, or any experience at a listed place, even if Definitely Human has been notified of the possibility of such damage.

11. Third-Party Services

INKSPOT utilizes third-party services including Apple Maps (MapKit), Firebase, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. By using INKSPOT, you agree to the terms of service of these third-party providers. Definitely Human is not responsible for their practices or policies.

12. Termination

Definitely Human reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to INKSPOT at any time, without notice or cause, if we determine that you are violating these terms or applicable laws.

13. Changes to These Terms

Definitely Human may revise these terms of use at any time without notice. By continuing to use INKSPOT, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of use.
